About Mussoorie
Perched along a ridge in the Garhwal Himalayas at over 2,000 metres, Mussoorie has drawn travellers uphill from Dehradun since the 1820s. Deodar-lined promenades, colonial-era bungalows and sweeping views of the Doon Valley on one side and snow-capped peaks on the other make it the most accessible Himalayan escape from Delhi NCR.
Best Time to Visit
March to June, and September to November offer the clearest skies and the most pleasant weather, with daytime temperatures between 12°C and 24°C. The monsoon (July–August) brings dramatic mist and waterfalls, while December–February is for those chasing snow on the Mall Road.
